The Society was founded in 1972 and it has been on the net (as www.shipwrecks.com) for about ten years and has been using PayPal for over five years. The Society is now liquidating a portion of its extremely valuable, museum study collection, including cannon and various shipwreck recovered artifacts. This is being done in part to reduce the size of its collection, and in part to pay for a museum to properly preserve and display the Society's unique collection of bronze and iron cannon from all over the world, as well as to house its other shipwreck related artifacts. We will be selling direct from this site and through eBay. Although we are new to selling on eBay, we have purchased literally thousands of rare artifacts, books, etc. through eBay, and we hope you will trust us due to our 34 years of educational work, and our many important discoveries and accomplishments.
